"Felicia was absolutely wonderful! She took my vision in what I wanted my wedding day to look like and turned it into something even more beautiful! She was able to understand my color scheme and pick out the perfect decor to accent every space of our venue. When you looked at every table setting and decoration - they were all unique and complimented one another. Felicia is exceptionally gifted in many artistic and design areas which were an asset to the neighborhood. Felicia envisioned the restructure of the entire neighborhood landscaping project paying special attention to the front entrance which was so outstanding that it made the local newspaper. She also was very savvy with the budget. Her functions and decorating are outstanding and superb.
I would highly recommend Felicia to undertake any project,, plan any and every aspect of a special event, but most especially, weddings!

We recently used Designs by Felicia Higdon to decorate and plan our wedding at "Nunzios" in Hilton Head Island. Felicia Higdon, the owner, turned the entire restaurant in to a magnificent wedding venue. Every room inside and out looked beautiful, and this was a big part of our pictures turning out so beautifully. She thought of details that added an extra special touch. She designed and made decorations to not only make the place look spectacular, but to also hide things we would not want in the pictures. We still have friends and family talking about how gorgeous the wedding was, as well as how organized she optimized the planning. She helped us with ideas and plans for the wedding we would not have known to do. Our wedding party was also very happy to have someone guiding us through it all. We highly recommend Designs by Felicia Higdon for any type of event but especially weddings. Thank you Felicia for being such and integral part of making our wedding the best event of 2021!

I'm happy to say it was the best day ever! Felicia coordinated everything! We had the ceremony at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens and the reception at the Jefferson Towers and Felicia had both places decorated beautifully. We had a very hard time finding someone to accomplish this task in the middle of COVID. She coordinated with the venue, caterers, cake delivery and she went above and beyond to make sure everything was as it should be so that I could enjoy the weekend with friends and family. It was such a relief knowing she was on top of everything! Felicia is truly talented with events and details to everything. I am so glad she did our wedding even though it was a long way for her. Her team of gals are priceless and so much fun! The weekend and wedding day were perfect in every way! I highly recommend Felicia!

Felicia was great. Her design for a complete overhaul of the entire front yard was well above the competition. I was so surprised when we saw two trucks with well over 200 plants delivered for the renovation which was also well above anyone else. We loved that she listened and planted low maintenance plants to create beauty without all the work. We loved her so much we recommended her to half the neighborhood! Felicia is great!

I am a "want-a-be" artist. I saw some of Felicia's work and asked for a lesson. She sat down with me and worked half a day showing me techniques and how to do so many things. It was amazing how she helped me improve in such a short time. I could look at her house and see that she has a very unique gift at making things pop and look good. She is a true artist in all she does, yet she is very down to earth and sensible, not way out like some artists.

The couple was married on a deck in a large restaurant, and you would have never known it was a deck! The way it was decorated was ingenious and the flowers and the white carpet were perfect. I would hire this wedding planner in a SECOND for my own wedding. People are still talking about the beautifully decorated space, down to the smallest detail. Felicia is one of From the very beginning, Felicia was FANTASTIC. I had initially contacted another wedding coordinator but got turned off when the half-day fee quoted on her site kept creeping higher and higher and higher, without a satisfactory explanation. We finally decided that we had to go elsewhere. When I told Felicia about that experience, she promised right away that she'd provide everything we wanted, within our budget. Not only that, but we live in Virginia and weren't arriving in Hilton Head until 5 days before the wedding - so I had to trust her to pull it all together without meeting us or seeing the site in person until the day beforehand. And she delivered!! With her design experience, she was able to understand my vision for our day - from the ceremony to the flowers, food, cake, and photography - and make suggestions/provide options to enhance all of it. She was always available by phone, email, and text, and we exchanged pictures to make sure she knew exactly what I wanted (especially when it came to my bouquet and the floral arrangements!). When the Big Day came, she went above and beyond with the flowers, decor, set-up, and coordination during the event. Our guests loved her. She even surprised us with a beautiful set of Mr. and Mrs. champagne flutes for our toast - the one thing I'd forgotten to get! My husband honestly had no idea what to expect from a wedding and reception, but afterwards he said "I thought everything was perfect. I wouldn't have done anything differently!" and then proceeded to tell me details of Felicia's multi-faceted design background. He's not a "people person" and doesn't make conversation easily - so for him to have spent that much time talking to her, says SO MUCH about how open and genuine she is. We would ABSOLUTELY recommend her to anyone planning an event in the Low Country!! Lilly S

She did so much more than I could have ever hoped she would do. Not only was she my planner, she was also taking on a florist role as well! She was so eager and excited to do this! I could tell that it meant a lot to her to make our special day as beautiful as it could possibly be! She made it very clear throughout the process that she would make sure that happened! She most definitely meant it! She made the most gorgeous table arrangements, and picked the most beautiful flowers to go with the colors of our wedding! The table arrangements were absolutely unforgettable, and it made me wish flowers stayed that way forever! I already had a florist helping with the wedding at the time. However, Felicia took what they already had, and added so much more to it! I cannot even begin to imagine how different things would have looked if she hadn’t expressed the excitement that she did to help us with our floral arrangements! She listened to everything I envisioned, and made it come to life in such an unreal way! She’s very reliable, and quick to respond! She’s great at communication, and you can definitely count on her to answer any questions that you could possibly have! She’s very knowledgeable in the wedding atmosphere! She will recommend things to you that you probably didn’t even think about yourself! That’s one of my favorite things about her! She has such incredible energy, and she’s a joy to be around! You can tell that she is passionate about what she does, and genuinely wants to help bring everything together! She put together the most gorgeous and phenomenal aisle decor for the ceremony! I could not have possibly imagined getting married without it there. She took all of my visions, and not only made them come to life, but she added things to them that she personally knew would go really well with everything and things she knew that we would love! She was great at communicating with my other vendors as well when needed!
